VeryDarkMan took to instagram to express his discontent, labeling Olukoyede “a symbol of incompetence and mediocrity ” and questioning the EFCC’sfocus on arresting young individuals while letting major fraudsters slip through the cracks .
VeryDarkMan labels Olukoyede incompetent due to his failure to arrest former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello , who has been on the EFCC’s wanted list since April. EFCC had filed charges against Bello over alleged N80.2 billion money laundering offences while he was governor of Kogi State. Bello was reportedly released, despite the EFCC declaring him wanted.
VeryDarkMan, in a post on Instagram on Monday, said: “Ola Olukoyede is a symbol of incompetence, mediocrity and I call him a clown.
VeryDarkMan called EFCC Chairman Olukoyede a clown because of his handling of the Yahaya Bello case. Specifically, on April 18, Olukoyede declared Bello wanted for N80.2 billion money laundering, yet Bello's absence stalled his arraignment. Since April EFCC posted that Yahaya Bello was wanted, it has been story upon story. Within all these, EFCC has been able to arraign over 100 people.
The money from all these people is not up to N120 million unlike Bello. “@officialefcc the clowns of all agencies tell your Chairman he is a big clown.
The only grace you have is the fact that the youths are always carried away. "The EFCC’s existence is questionable when they consistently arrest innocent young people while turning a blind eye to high-profile fraud cases."
