Offa, Kwara State – In an interview, Oyeleke Toheeb Alabi, popularly known as DJ Teefrosh, shared his remarkable journey as a DJ, highlighting the importance of perseverance and passion.
According to DJ Teefrosh, his love for music and entertaining people inspired him to become a DJ. Despite facing discouragement and negative feedback during his early days, he persevered, honing his craft and making improvements.
“I started DJing in secondary school, but my first gig was met with discouragement and negative feedback,” DJ Teefrosh revealed. “However, I didn’t give up. I kept working on my craft, and eventually, I started receiving compliments and more gig offers.”
DJ Teefrosh emphasized the importance of preparation and focus in handling rejection and public shame. “I prioritize my preparation and focus on delivering a great performance,” he said. “I can’t please everyone, but I strive to make sure that those who enjoy my music have a great time.”
The Offa-based DJ advised aspiring DJs to stay determined, focused, and committed to their passion. “Don’t give up, despite the challenges that will come your way.
